CounterCulture has introduced an innovative new format:Fusion(tm)-a short feature/music video genre-bending concept, suitable for the viral video and streaming web content environment of music/artist promotion and marketing.
Fusion(tm) offers artists the opportunity to push boundaries in gaining exposure for their music, while enhancing the appeal to the website visitor, fanbase, and video consumers who are overexposed to unsatisfying visual stimulation.
Fusion creates new market opportunities as it redefines the music video genre. It is suitable for webstreaming, while also building following through release in the traditional short feature markets, as well as its ability to make the festival circuit, reaching new audiences globally.
Fusion ™ combines the artist’s music video fees with other forms of film financing to create a whole that is much greater than its parts. With the addition of a pullout short version for traditional markets, artists literally get 10 times the bang for their buck.
CounterCulture produces both short and feature length films.
Their production slate covers the spectrum from action thriller and intense drama to quirky romantic comedy and madcap chase.
CounterCulture also develops top notch short and feature scripts and works in collaboration with creative teams of all levels from single set shorts that showcase acting and directing on a shoestring to extremely high concept, multi-market prepositioned features.

We actively engage in supporting such charitable, humanitarian and socially responsible organizations in areas such as human rights , development of peace practices, poverty relief, social justice, animal rights and artistic and cultural expression by multiple means from providing low cost/no cost services such as graphic design and production of streaming web content and video press releases to the choice of projects we pursue and their possibilities to engender positive change and open discussion. CounterCulture actively solicits donations for projects of limited commercial potential as part of a multiple streams of financing package to enable work of important artistic/social merit.

Internships
CounterCulture follows a business model that develops and nurtures talent from within. Internships are variable in length and tailored to meet the needs of the intern. Interns work in all aspects of the business and do not function as unpaid menials who never get a chance to participate in any real filmmaking. They are offered many networking opportunities, as well as, perks like free screenings. If they function on set as PA’s or Assistants, they are paid and credited. CounterCulture forms cooperative relationships with other filmmakers so that interns can be “lent” and experience different styles of filmmaking. CounterCulture also mentors interns in producing their own work so they come out of school with an expanded portfolio and are highly employable.
